new logo The Thames Valley Group of Advanced Motorists (group 2061) is one of more than two hundred local organisations affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists (now iAM RoadSmart). The Group is based in Maidenhead and covers the area shown here.

We are a group of car drivers who are dedicated to the advancement of Road Safety by improving the driving standards of ourselves and others to that required by iAM RoadSmart. Our objective is to improve the quality and quantity of better drivers on our overcrowded road system.

The Thames Valley group was formed in June 1978 and now has in excess of 360 members from all walks of life and ages ranging from 18 to 80. Meetings are held at Holyport, to the south of Maidenhead and close to Junction 8 on the M4.
